Do You Have a Reality Show Project You Think You Should Be on TV?

Well, there’s good news. It’s possible, even if you have no Hollywood connections, to sign deals with real Hollywood producers to get your project a real chance at being greenlit and airing on TV.

I’m living proof. I had no Hollywood connections, no formal education in entertainment or any other advantages. But, through years of hard work and study, I’ve learned some of the ropes and have successfully signed three development deals with real Hollywood producers. My deals were with the following companies who have many credits including the below samples:

New Wave Entertainment (Last Comic Standing- NBC)

Clown Car, LLC.(The Entertainer- E! Networks)

Walker/Fitzgibbon TV & Films (Intimate Portrait: Gloria Estefan – Lifetime TV)

In my experience, it takes much more than a good idea to successfully market a reality show project. It takes having all the right elements in place, a professional presentation and the ability to get through to Hollywood executives to produce the project.

Through all of my efforts to pitch reality projects, I have established relationships with a large number of major reality show producers. The executives in charge of development will take a pitch from me because they know me and I am represented by an established talent agency. Without representation, most of them will simply not even talk with you.

Some of the shows production companies I’ve pitched to produce are:

American Idol, America’s Got Talent, Big Brother, Fear Factor, Extreme Makeover, Survivor, Ghost Hunters, Dirty Jobs, American Chopper and Ultimate Fighter

I’ve also pitched directly to networks. I’ve been inside the lair at NBC, CBS and Comedy Central. From this experience, I know what networks expect from a pitch and how to do it.
